Beaches

There are many beautiful beaches near El Padron where visitors can soak up the sun and enjoy the warm Mediterranean Sea. El Padron beach is 1.4 kilometres long with an average width of 30 metres. It has earned a Blue Flag for its amenities and composition.

This beach, amid planting at the mouth of the Padron river, has the uber cool, newly opened, luxury Laguna Beach Resort and its neighbour, Beso Beach bar, also a stylish destination.

Closer to home and a 2 minute drive from the villa is the low key Sun Inn El Padron offering both local tapas and British food, beer and cocktails.

Some popular beaches in the vicinity include Playa del Cristo, Playa de la Rada, and Playa de Guadalobon. Each of these beaches offers a unique setting and a relaxed atmosphere for beach lovers to unwind and take in the stunning views of the coastline. Leisure

There are more than 30 golf courses within easy reach of Estepona. The area has a wide range of quality courses, some of which are championship courses. The Costa del Sol has earned the nickname of ‘the Costa del Golf’ and has an ideal climate for playing golf all year round.

Padel and tennis are very popular locally and several clubs are within easy reach of the villa by car and offer open access and booking to non-members.

Water sports can be found at some local beaches. At Estepona Marina (Puerto Deportivo de Estepona), a 15 minute drive from the villa, boats and jet skis can be hired and boat trips and excursions are available.

For kids and big kids there are 3 large water parks within an hour’s drive of Estepona.

Selwo Aventura, a zoo and biodiversity conservation area is a 20 minute drive from the villa.
